AWS User Group Cebu is a local community of cloud enthusiasts, professionals, and learners. Our mission is to upskill members on Amazon Web Services and core pragmatic server engineering foundations. We are supported and recognized by AWS UG PH, AWS UG Global, and the broader Cebu Tech Communities.
AWS Community Day events are community-led, full-day technical conferences held in major cities worldwide. The Philippines operates through three strategic legs—Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao—ensuring developers have access to global-level technical standards.

This year we're elevating technical rigor with intermediate-level sessions across two parallel tracks.

Learner-friendly workshops led by officers of AWS Student Builder Groups based in Cebu, alongside leads from AWS User Group Philippines.

OWASP
A hands-on walkthrough from empty cloud server to fully attacked and hardened API. Deploy OWASP crAPI, exploit cloud metadata flaws, then apply least-privilege IAM, secrets management, and rate limiting.

ESP32 Camera → Lambda orchestrating feature extraction through Rekognition → Bedrock creative description → Polly voice synthesis → audio output on ESP32.

Live demo on preventing prompt injection attacks using Bedrock Guardrails, IAM least privilege, Lambda validation, and WAF protections.
